Get A Clue Scavenger Hunt

I volunteered at the Get A Clue Scavenger race in Canby on Saturday morning with my nephew Tyler and daughter Sophie while my husband and oldest daughter, Eris, raced it.

I was proud of our gang of dedicated Youth Running Club volunteers who helped make the event run smoothly. Our parent/kid duos were at “clue” stations such as Wait Park, U.S. Bank, Starbucks, Saturday Market and the fairgrounds for check in/check out.  It was an important step for our recreation running club, which I founded 2 years ago. It helped to get our name out in the community and it was a nice show of solidarity. I’d like to actually run it again next year, as it’s a lot of fun!
