Jon Dragt Resigns from Library board

In this week’s Canby Herald, there is a lengthy article by new reporter Daniel Pearson about Jon Dragt, as he recently resigned from the Library board after 8 years of service. Jon has witnessed– and been in the inner circle of decision making– 3 different locations be proposed for the new Library project over the past several years: the 1st Ave project, the 2nd Ave project, and the current project (which is technically on 2nd Ave but we don’t call it that). I hope he will join us for the ribbon cutting when the new building is complete in 2016.

He has been a strong advocate for the Library and I appreciate his dedicated volunteer service to our town!
