Bridging Culture’s Multicultural Thanksgiving Feast

My family and I went to the Bridging Culture’s Thanksgiving feast on Saturday night. About 450 people came, wow!

It took my kids a little while to warm up to the idea of the people scavenger hunt, e.g. “Find a person who drives 50 miles to work,” but once they did, they enjoyed scurrying around with me, seeking out strangers to sign their sheet.

My youngest daughter Monika even won a raffle item in the end: a nerf bow and arrow. She was quite pleased.

Thank you to the many Latino and Anglo volunteers who worked together to organize this important community event!
