Kiwanis Toy and Food Drive

My family and I helped out for an hour at the Kiwanis food sorting session Saturday afternoon at the Clackamas County Fairgrounds.

It’s pretty fun to put things–like long tablefuls of canned goods–in order. The kids were into it. For example, they would pull a cart around the room and fill a box with all of the canned corns they could find.

It is impressive how committed the Canby Kiwanis club is to this mammoth project each year. They clock countless volunteer hours to get all of these donated foods and toys to local families in need. Truly, this is the spirit of giving.
