Canby Kiwanis Makes a Hefty Donation to the New Library Project

At the March 16th city council meeting the Canby Kiwanis Club presented the City of Canby with a check for $50,000 to fund the children’s area of the new Library.

This is the club’s centennial project to honor the 100th anniversary of Kiwanis International, founded in 1915.

I am still in awe at the incredible generosity of the club, and I have never been prouder to be a member (as the photo indicates, I am proudly showing my Kiwanis tee shirt). This was the first major gift for the library project, and the City is so very grateful.
