Willamette Falls Legacy Project

The kids and I went to the Willamette Falls Legacy Project’s citizen information event last night at the Abernathy Center in Oregon City.

There was some enormous aerial maps of the area where the “Riverwalk” is being planned.

The kids did not like it much because it was more adult oriented, but they participated in the posing-in-front-of- the-giant-photo-of-the-falls activity. Sophie’s dialogue box reads: “Hey, where are all the lampray? I thought they were there!!!” They learned that lamprey gather at the falls (and that Native Americans to this day are allowed to harvest them.)
