Relay for Life

My mom, sister, niece, stepdad and I joined the Relay for Life event last Saturday morning at the Ackerman track in Canby to do a few laps.

We were with the St. Patrick’s Heroes team. They had a team of about 30 people, organized by Rose Judge, who came and went throughout the day to walk.

I am glad this cancer fundraising tradition continues in Canby, although the number of participants seems to be dwindling over time. It’s a great cause, though, and I hope the event continues and the leadership finds a way to keep it going over the next several years.
