Saturday in Canby

Saturday was an eventful afternoon in Canby for my family. Eris and Sophie wanted to get a commemorative library card for $5 (as a donation to the project) at the Library.

We also went to the Bridging Cultures’ picnic at Locust Street park and watched/helped a lady make tissue paper flowers for the Kiddie Capers parade on Tuesday,  ate some tasty Mexican food, and chatted with people known and unknown.
My husband and I then went to Sarah Spoon’s kick off party for Canby City Council at FOB in town. Earlier in the day I had gone to a house party for candidate Irene Konev.
