Operation Snuggle in Canby

The masses of volunteers came out to make about 400 hand-tied blankets for homeless students in the Canby area during Operation Snuggle on Saturday morning at Baker Prairie Middle School.

The kids and I were more efficient than last year, our first year participating. They got into the competition factor between the fire department and police department. They favored the fire department but I tried to be impartial! (In the end the fire department got more blankets contributed to their pile.) This event is for a great cause and I am delighted that Dawn Depner organizes it every year.
