The Canby Planning Commission has seen a lot of action this month. Two weeks ago they denied a local property owner his request to rezone a parcel of land that is located between S. Ivy Street and S. Holly Street at SW 6th Ave. We on city council will have a public hearing on Dec. 6th to consider the property owner’s application for a conditional use permit. I’ll know more about this topic after that date.
Here is a quote from Daniel Pearson’s Canby Herald article this week:
“The Canby Planning Commission voted unanimously not to allow local property owner Allen Manuel to rezone a 6.84 parcel of land from a low-density residential to a medium-density residential subdivision that would create a 22-lot subdivision for six single-family homes and four townhomes.”
